Credits

Credits for Family Medicine Specialists:
This 1-credit-per hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen’s University for up to 27 Mainpro+ credits.

Pharmacists:
The Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy has accredited this program for 27 CEUs.

Credits for Royal College Specialists:
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by Queen’s University Office of CPD. You may claim a maximum of 27 hours (credits are automatically
calculated).

Hours for All Health Professionals:
This is a professional learning activity

The American Medical Association
AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ designation statement: Members of the American Academy of Family Physicians are eligible to receive up to 27 prescribed credit hours for attendance at Pri-Med Canada 2024 to a reciprocal agreement with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Certificate

Instructions for downloading your personalized certificate of attendance will be emailed to you on June 25, 2024. Your Certificate will itemize all the sessions you participated in both in-person and in the post-online video recording. During the in-person event your badge will be scanned as you enter each session and any post-conference videos you watch will be added to your Certificate of Attendance. You can earn up to 27 credits in total.

Recordings

All sessions at Pri-Med Canada 2024 will be recorded and available on this site the week after the conference to verified attendees and are certified for Mainpro+ credits until June 24 and CCCEP credits until May 24th. Please note: You must attend at least 1 day of the conference to be considered a “verified” attendee to be eligible to view the recordings.

Slide Decks

Most PDF’s of the slide decks will be available to download during the event. They are located in the Documents tab within each session under the  “Program” page.

Evaluations

Session Evaluations are available after you have attended a session. They can be found in the Evaluation tab within each session.

An Overall Evaluation will be emailed to you after the event and will also be available on this web app home page.

Evaluation Contest! EVERY evaluation you complete enters you into a draw for the Grand Prize of one CDN $250 Amazon e-gift card or 1 of 10 Pri-Med Canada 2025 conference passes.

Contest closes June 25, 2024, 11:59pm ET. Winners will be notified via email by June 28, 2024. All verified attendees of Pri-Med Canada 2024 are eligible to win.

Shuttle Bus

Free Shuttle bus service will run for the entirety of the conference and will pick up and drop off approximately every 15 – 20 minutes depending on traffic volume. The shuttle bus will be picking up at the entrance to Hall 2 and dropping off at the host hotels: Four Points Sheraton Toronto Airport and The Westin Toronto Airport. The first pick up at the host hotels begins at 6:00 am every morning.

Breakfast and Dinner Symposia Sessions

Symposia sessions are produced independently of the Humber River Health Planning Committee and are supported by educational grants from industry. These Non-Certified Symposia will occur during breakfast/dinner hours and include meals. Seating is limited and may be sold out. However, all attendees may join the standby line outside each room. If space becomes available you will be let in.

iPad or iPhone

  1. Launch Safari app. *Please note that this does not work from the “Chrome” app.
  2. Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Tap Go.
  3. Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the bottom of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
  4. Tap Add to Home Screen. The “Add to Home” dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
  5. Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap Add. Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone/iPad’s desktop.

Android

  1. Launch the Chrome app. *Please note that this does not work from the device’s native web browser app.
  2. Open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
Badge Scanning

During the in-person event, your badge will be scanned as you enter each session. This is to track your attendance in order to automatically add sessions you attended to your certificate. If you don’t get your badge scanned, the sessions you participated will not show up on your certificate.
